16 This is an actual result collected from our customer. Customer replaced their old dryer with Carousel dryer to produce high quality floating fish feed with 3 TPH capacity, producing 7.0 mm pellet. Carousel dryer is a dryer with several layer of rotating perforated screen segments. Each of these segments is tipped automatically so that the product can slide down onto the subjacent deck. The round shape ensures homogeneous air flow stream inside the dryer which allows a uniform treatment of the product. The dryer dries the feed from 20% moisture in the inlet to 9% moisture at outlet, with a total of 60 minutes drying time.
